Site work and renovation of a civil project in Whitmore Lake, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Bids are solicited on an itemized lump sum basis for all work specified. The project will consist of installation of water treatment skids within an existing well house and connection to the existing distribution system and construction of a backwash water settling system. Construction is to include, but not be limited to, the following: 1. Installation of pre-manufactured arsenic treatment skids (Owner provided) in well house 2. Installation of connecting piping and support systems 3. Excavation for and installation of backwash water sediment settling tanks, discharge pump station, connecting piping, access risers, connection of control panel and electrical wiring. 4. Installation of backwash discharge pipe and connection to receiving sanitary manhole. 5. Excavation for and installation of interconnection pipes between Coventry Woods MHC and Hamburg Hills MHC water distribution piping systems. 6. Connection of treatment skids to distribution system, chemical feed systems, electrical power system. 7. All system commissioning and testing Removal and replacement of existing Coventry Woods well pumps and motors, as well as the abandonment of the existing Hamburg Hills wells and well house will be performed under separate contract(s) by the Owner. BID SECURITY: Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a cashiers check, certified check, money order or bid bond, payable to the OWNER, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Proposal, as a Bid Security. The Bid Security of the Bidders under consideration will be returned after approval of the Contract by the OWNER. All others will be returned after the Proposal opening. CONTRACT SECURITY: The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Material Bond, each in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract. OWNERS RIGHTS: The OWNER reserves the right to accept any Proposal, to reject any or all Proposals, and to waive any irregularities in any Proposal, in the interest of the OWNER.
