1. Provide staff, including licensed Structural Engineer for the City of Frankfort. 2. Perform professional structural engineering inspections, evaluations, engineering calculations, and reviews of specifications and construction documents. 3. Perform independent third-party structural engineering peer reviews of designs, buildings, facilities, structures. 4. Evaluate structures and provide structural design and/or construction services for construction, repair, and replacement of structures. 5. Provide in-house personnel or sub-consultants for structural engineering matters. 6. Provide the full range of professional structural engineering services including conducting preliminary studies, overseeing structural testing, providing preliminary designs, developing final PS&E. 7. Review construction bids. 8. During construction, perform periodic on-site visits of work to determine status, quality, integrity, timeliness and compliancy of performed work; review material submittals, shop submittal drawings and test results; respond to RFIs; draft change orders; and review pay estimates. 9. Other, similar, services related to professional structural engineering aspects of city infrastructure projects, buildings, or facilities and programs To respond to this project the Consultant must be qualified in the following areas by the response due date of this advertisement: PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER o Professional surveyor licensed in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in accordance with KRS 322. - First Selection Committee Meeting - July 17, 2024 - Final Selection Committee Meeting - July 24, 2024 - Scoping Meeting - Jul 30, 2024 - Consultant Fee Proposal - August 6, 2024 - Contract Negotiations - August 13, 2024 - City Board of Commissioners Approval - August 26, 2024 Consultants should include a DBE Participation Plan with their Response to Announcement. An additional page will be allowed with the Project Approach (page 7) in the Response to Announcement to convey this plan. A maximum of 3 points will be considered in the Evaluation Factors for the DBE Participation Plan. This document constitutes a Request for Proposals for a Professional Service Contract from qualified individuals and organizations to furnish those professional services as described herein for the City of Frankfort, Kentucky To respond to this project the Consultant's personnel assigned to the project team must be licensed and/or registered in Kentucky to perform the engineering/surveying services listed in Section V - Scope of Work. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
