Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Blackfoot, Idaho. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; pre-engineered storage facility; and pre-engineered storage facility.

The project includes a Pre-Engineered Metal Building System (PEMB materials bid under a separate contract) to house classrooms and shop space for the Blackfoot Technical Education Center, located at Blackfoot High School. The scope of work will include site clearing, earthwork, concrete foundations and slabs, concrete masonry walls, structural steel framing, light gauge metal framing, casework, windows and doors, interior finishes, specialties, Pre-Engineered Metal Building (erection only - bid included on bid form), mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems, and associated site work. The Pre-Engineered Metal Building is approximately 280' x 80'. The successful offeror will coordinate with the PEMB supplier for PEMB erection. The scope of this bid shall be awarded under one Contract and will include all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to perform all work to provide the project as defined herein and in the construction documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the maximum amount of the Proposal. The successful bidder shall provide a 100% Performance and Payment Bond. The Owner reserves the privilege of rejecting any or all Proposals or waiving any irregularities or formalities in any Proposal in the bidding. *See the attached Addendum #1 for the BTEC project bid, the main thing which is clarified here is the Bid Date being pushed until the 16th - we were anticipating this so our bid invitation has already reflected that date so no change for the HWCC bidding requirements.
