Questions Due Date: Jun 19th 2024, 11:00 AM MST Online Portal Perform heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services by a Licensed Contractor as needed. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) repair and maintenance services under an indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity contract. These services may include but are not limited to: HVAC system installation, repair and replacement of components such as capacitors, ductwork, thermostats, and fans, cleaning of units, inspection, testing, adjusting, balancing, and ensuring proper functioning of HVAC systems, attending to any other HVAC-related work, and providing emergency services as needed to maintain system integrity. Project Scope: - Disconnect electrical connections, and refrigerant lines from existing compressor. - Utilize a STHH liquid drier and STHH suction drier during the replacement process to maintain refrigerant purity and system efficiency. - Due to burnout damage, the use of Acid Away solution is required. - Remove old compressor and give to the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor or designee for proper disposal. Ensure old compressor is properly prepped for safe handling. - Recharge system with nine (9) lbs. of R-22 freon. - Reconnect all electrical connections, and refrigerant lines to the new compressor, adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines. - Perform thorough tests, adjustments, and calibrations to ensure the new compressor is efficiently and effectively operating the HVAC system. - Conduct final inspection meeting with the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to certify the successful completion of the project.
