Site work and new construction of a parking garage in Easton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a 57,800-square-foot, three-story above grade parking garage; and for site work for a parking garage.
The County of Northampton is soliciting proposals for construction management (CM) services for the Government Center Office Building and Parking Deck in accordance with this Request for Proposals (RFP). Northampton County is seeking the services of a Construction Manager for a proposed Parking Garage and Office Building at the County Government Center in Easton. The selected firm shall serve as the County's Construction Manager as agent, and will provide assistance throughout the design, bidding and construction phases. The project is proposed to be constructed in one-single phase. During construction all on-site parking for County business will be shifted to adjacent County parking lots, and/or an off-site overflow lot as needed. August 2025 through May 2027 Following the award of the contract, official communications with the County shall be directed to the following email address: bids@norcopa.gov. A proposed new three-story office building shall be situated towards the southeast corner of the parcel between Washington Street and the proposed parking garage. Each floor shall be approximately 10,400 gross SF with the following intended uses: o 1 st Floor - Elections Division Office Space (~3,500 SF); Large Conference room with flexible partitions (~2,000 SF); Secured Lobby; Restrooms; Break Room; Mechanical Room; Loading Dock o 2 nd Floor - Fiscal Affairs Office Space (Assessment, Revenue, Accounting, Procurement, Fiscal Administration, GIS, Payroll/Accounts Receivable); Restrooms; Storage; Break Room o 3 rd Floor - Human Resources Offices; County Administration Offices; Solicitor's Offices; Community and Economic Development Offices; Restrooms; Storage; Break Room The main entrance to the new building will be placed on the western elevation to promote access to the surrounding buildings at the Government Center, and access to the existing sidewalk on Washington Street shall be provided. The feasibility and estimated cost to incorporate a photovoltaic system into the design of either the office building or parking garage shall be reviewed during the design phase.
