The City of Abilene reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or parts of proposals and to waive any formalities and technicalities and to accept the proposal(s) most advantageous to the City. Perform QUARTERLY PM Inspections on equipment 4 times per year at approximate three (3) month intervals. These inspections will include but not limited to checking generator operation, fluid levels, block heater, batteries, and air filters. Perform work during regular business hours 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday unless it is an emergency repair. Send customers a copy of each maintenance inspection report with all applicable areas filled out by the service technician. Report any noted problems with Equipment and recommended courses of corrective action to the City of Abilene Facilities Maintenance division immediately. Perform normal maintenance on Equipment including oil and filter changes described below as standard PM items. Perform annual 2 hour load bank tests. Perform insulation tests and fuel analysis annually. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Proposal, Contract Documents, including specifications must be submitted in writing to the Purchasing Agent. Replies will be issued by addenda on the City website. Only questions answered by formal written addenda will be binding. The deadline for questions is Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. (noon).
