Site work and renovation of a civil project in Abilene, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes the following work at the City of Abilene's Northeast and Hargesheimer Water Treatment Plants (WTPs) - Sodium Hydroxide Bulk Storage Tanks: 1. Demolition of existing infrastructure as shown on the Drawings at both of the WTP sites. 2. Installation of one (1) bulk sodium hydroxide (NaOH) fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) storage tank at both of the WTP sites in accordance with the contract documents. 3. Installation of all necessary piping and appurtenances, as well as supporting electrical, structural, and instrumentation and controls for the bulk NaOH storage improvements at both of the WTP sites. 4. Startup and commissioning of the bulk NaOH storage improvements at both of the WTPs. 5. SCADA Integration (Programming and HMI development) of new instrumentation and control equipment at the Northeast and Hargesheimer WTPs shall be performed by Signature Automation. SCADA hardware, power supply, and input/output (I/O) wiring and termination shall be performed by the General Contractor or a Subcontractor to the General Contractor. The project includes the following work for the City of Abilene Northeast Water Treatment Plant (WTP) - Dry Polymer Feed System: 1. Demolition of existing infrastructure as shown on the Drawings. 2. Installation of pre-selected equipment manufacturer's dry polymer systems in accordance with the contract documents. 3. Installation of all appurtenances and supporting electrical for the dry polymer feed system. 4. Startup and commissioning of the dry polymer feed system. 5. SCADA Integration (Programming and HMI development) of new instrumentation and control equipment shall be performed by Signature Automation. SCADA Integration (Hardware and I/O Wiring and Termination) shall be performed by the General Contractor or a Subcontractor to the General Contractor. Bid Security is not required. A Pre-Bid Conference will not be held for this project. Performance and Payment Bond information is found in the Instructions to Bidders. All bids must comply with specifications. All bids must remain open for 60 days after bid opening The City will return unopened any bid received after bid closing time. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately after closing deadline in the Council Chambers Abilene City Hall, 555 Walnut, Abilene, Texas. All bids remain open for sixty (60) days. The City reserves the right to release any Bid early
