Joshua ISD is requesting Qualification Statements from qualified firms to provide Construction Manager-Agent Services for renovation, addition, expansion and new construction projects related to the Joshua ISD 2024 Bond Program. If your firm wishes to be considered, please contact Candace Fuchs at fuchsc@joshuaisd.org by June 17th, 2024 so that your firm may be placed on the list for future communications about this RFQ. The district will review all complete submittals received by the deadline. As required by law, the district will make selections based on the best-qualified firms. The selection process will be based on a review of the firm's qualifications, completed projects, client references, and in some cases, interviews. Firms submitting Statements of Qualifications shall be referred to as "Respondents". Questions about this RFQ or the process may be directed to: Candace Fuchs Purchasing Director fuchsc@joshuaisd.org All questions must be received by June 20, 2024 4.00 PM. The district will respond to all relevant questions to all interested parties. This RFQ does not commit Joshua ISD to enter into a contract or award any services related to this RFQ. Joshua ISD accepts no financial responsibility for any costs incurred by the firm in the course of responding to this invitation. Joshua ISD reserves the right to waive minor technicalities in the best interest of the district. Joshua ISD is seeking statements of qualifications from Construction Manager-Agent firms. Joshua ISD is considering design and construction of projects included in the 2024 Bond Program and other future, yet-to-be-determined projects. The selected firm will coordinate with the project architects, engineers, contractors and other consultants. Joshua ISD will hold all construction contracts and is seeking a relationship with the Construction Manager-Agent firm as defined by Texas Government Code Section 2269.201. The services included in the Construction Manager-Agent contract may include overall project management services, oversight of solicitation of requests for proposals from prime contractors, development of scopes of work, construction standards, scheduling and estimating, bidding and negotiations, design review (with regard to costs, schedule and constructability), quality assurance, construction management, on-site inspection, review of contractor pay applications, and construction closeout. The Construction Manager-Agent firm may not self-perform any work in the 2024 Bond Program or serve as a subcontractor on any project in the 2024 Bond Program, and will serve Joshua ISD in a fiduciary capacity, as provided by Texas law. Proposition A: Total Budget: $63.1 million Details: Construction of a new 92,500 square-foot elementary school and an additional 13,500 square feet for Nichols Middle School. Proposition B: Total Budget: $8.9 million Details: Renovation of the Joshua High School cafeteria. Proposition C: Total Budget: $29.5 million Details: Includes a 26,000 square-foot renovation and a 31,000 square-foot addition of the Career and Technical Education facility at Joshua High School. Proposition D: Total Budget: $4.7 million Details: Upgrades including HVAC replacements, paving improvements, and safety and security updates.
