The deadline to ask questions is 7/08/2024 2:00 PM CST Estimate: $125,000.00. Scope Quantities of work are as follows: 1. Construction of trapezoidal drainage channel with permanent erosion protection at 609 N. Broadway St. in Joshua, TX. 2. Major work includes: a. Excavation - 280 CY b. Permanent Erosion Protection (InstaTurf ShearForce10) - 800 SY Please direct all questions related to the design of this Project to the Q&A Section. No Pre-Bid Conference has been scheduled A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Joshua or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be substituted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate established by the Owner and included in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual identity, gender identity, or national origin. The City of Joshua reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Joshua for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award. Description of proposed Work, including: a. Scope of cutting, patching, or alteration. b. Trades that will perform the Work. c. Products proposed for use. d. Extent of refinishing to be performed. e. Cost proposal, when applicable.
