Cost Range: $30,000-$35,000 Union County will remove 3 of the 4 old existing signs. The vendor will remove the "sign portion" of the existing sign on US Highway 176 near the Spartanburg County line, and use the existing columns to install the new sign. It will be the responsibilty of the vendor to determine the width needed to create a panel that will fit between the existing columns and install them. The sign portion will have the charateristics of the other three new signs specified. The vendor will be responsible for the manufacturing of, and the installation of the 4 signs at identified locations. The signs shall: Have colums with real brick or stone and a minimum widith of 16" x 16" square, at least 6.5' in height, and completed with cannonball finials attop each column. Three signs shall be within tolerance of 64" x 43", and shall fit within the two brick or stone columns The sign cabinet will be an aluminum framed The signs shall have lexan faces Signs shall have solar LED lighting within, and made so that the solar lighting maybe replaced when needed Signs shall have a rider sign under the large sign Signs shall be one sided, and facing direction of oncoming traffic As a required component of the bid, each vendor must provide a copy of a minimum of $1,000,000.00 (One Million Dollars) in general liability insurance within their bid package. Each Vendor shall have and show proof of Workers Compensation. Vendors will not be considered if this information is not included within their bid package. Union County has property easments to three of the signs, and a State Department of Transportation Permit for one location on file.
