The parks district is now poised to take ownership of the more than 80 acres of Point Molate, a former U.S. Navy fuel storage and transfer site located on the San Pablo Peninsula not far from the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge. The site was previously the subject of large-scale development proposals which never came to fruition. The Contractor shall prepare a Construction Health and Safety Plan (H&SP), which incorporates necessary mitigation measures and safety provisions in conformance with the information contained in the HSS and SMAMP. During construction, the Contractor shall ensure their H&SP adequately minimizes potential health and safety risks and makes amendments to the document throughout the life of the project as needed.
