Each firm responding to this RFQ will be evaluated and selected based on its qualifications, after evaluating the responses to this RFQ the Owner will shortlist no fewer than three qualified firms. One forth of the new building is the CSU and will consist of ten bedrooms, each with their own associated restroom. A common space, support spaces such as a group room, and an exterior courtyard are other programmatic elements of the CSU. One half of the building is the BHUC and will consist of an adult (10 Chair) 23/HR Hold unit and an Assessment unit (20 Chair) both with their own restrooms and common space. The last forth of the building includes administrative and nurse support spaces including a central nurse station, offices, open office, etc. There will be two entrances to the building, one being public, and one being private for 1st responders including Police / EMS for pickup and drop off. The building should be constructed with Behavioral Health Care in mind including features such as ligature free fixtures. Refer to Schematic Design set for additional information. Professional design services are being acquired by the Owner under a separate contract. All aspects of the project and related issues will be implemented and operated consistent with the Owner's policies and procedures.
