As of August 14, 2024 project was awarded to Fechko Excavating, Inc, awarded amount is $2,726,221.44. Stark County Commissioners, Canton, Ohio The construction required will consist primarily of the installation of approximately 10,266 lineal feet of 8" gravity sewer and 36 manholes. This work includes all paving, site work and restoration necessary to convey wastewater flows within the Meadowgrove Allotment areas. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of 1) a certified check, or cashier's check, or letter of credit, equal to 10% of the bid; 2) a bid guaranty bond for the full amount of the bid; both forms of guaranty as provided in Chapter 153 of the Ohio Revised Code and in the project specifications. The total estimated cost of construction is $3,722,000.00 The Stark County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and to accept any bid or combination of bids that is deemed most favorable to the County at the time and under the conditions stipulated.
