Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Design plans call for the construction of a 474,000-square-foot, two-story above grade, 4,100-seat educational facility.
Brighton Joint-Use Elementary (BJUE): construction of a joint-use Elementary School in Saskatoon. The school is expected to be approx. 22,000m2 with an integrated 90-seat childcare center, approximately 650 square meters in size. The schools will accommodate up to a maximum student enrollment of 2,050, supporting Public school needs with 1,100 students and Catholic school needs with 950 students. The designated 10-acre site for the new joint-use elementary school is situated in The Brighton neighborhood of the City of Saskatoon. The site is defined by three streets, Skopik Road, Brighton Boulevard and Taube Avenue, while the remainder on the site backs on to the Brighton Core Park. Aspen Ridge Joint-Use Elementary (ARJUE): construction of a joint-use elementary school planned to accommodate no more than 2,050 students, with an approximate area of 22,000 square meters and an integrated 90-seat childcare centre, approximately 650 square meters in size. The site is a green field located in Saskatoon, defined by Aspen Ridge Street, Henry Dayday Road and Myles Heidt Manor; the site is 8 acres. TIMELINE: Planning and design work to commence shortly. Both projects would use the same design team and would align the designs as much as possible while accounting for different site shapes and conditions. Construction start is planned for Spring 2027. *Budget is unreleased.
