Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Emerson, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a golf course; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Soldier Hill Golf Course Parking Lot • Mobilization • Contractor must take out a permit from the building deparment in Emerson to perform work on the driveway aprons. • Excavate and reconstruct entrance and exit driveway aprons, Reinforced 6” Thick • 9x18 Vertical curb to be reconstructed, approximately 100’ • Mill 2”- 3” of exisiting Hot Mix Asphalt. Approximately 9,815 square yards. • The contractor should shoot grades and confirm that all water will flow to drainage structures. Contractor is responsible to ensure that there will be no standing water or ponding of water on paved areas 1 to 2 hours after a rain event. • Milling will be performed and left in place as an additional subbase for surface course. Milling materials will be graded and relocated on site to establish grades for positive drainage for parking lot A and B. • Parking lot B; must have positive runoff toward the SW corner. • The contractor will be responsible for establishing the grades required. All milling, grading compaction and base preparation are to be included in Item #4 HMA MILLING 3” or less. • Item # 11 will address transportation and disposal of millings if required. This item will be paid based on tri-axle loads disposed of at a licensed recycling facility and not needed on site to establish grades. • Item #12. will address the import of DGA stone if and where needed on site. All transportation and installation of the additional materials should be included in this price. • Adjust Inlets as required. • Some areas might require hand work • Clean/Sweep entire area and apply RC-70 or other approved tack coat material. • Install 2” of Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course over entire area and create positive slope and drainage of new pavement.. Hot Mix Asphalt will be rolled and compacted to NJDOT compaction standards • Install Parking Stalls as per exisiting or detail as directed the RE. • All vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be protected in accordance with NJDOT and MUTCD regulations.
