Renovation of a mixed-use development in Fort Collins, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
Reference Number 0000355235 Job Location: FRCC Larimer Campus Harmony Library Estimated Construction Cost: $100,000.00 The Harmony Library is located at 4616 S. Shields Street, Fort Collins CO, 80526. The Harmony Library is a joint use facility that serves both the public as well as Front Range Community College students. The Harmony Library is typically open seven days a week including evenings. The main book drop location in the Harmony Library will be remodeled to accommodate the installation of an Automated Materials Handling machine (AMH). This project will create efficiencies for Library staff who will no longer need to sort returned books by hand. The timing of this renovation will complement the renovation of the building's main restrooms. The project will be completed in one phase and will the expertise of a general contractor capable of managing all subcontractors needed to complete the entire scope of work. The College and the Library district plan to keep the Library open during this project; therefore, Contractor experience with projects taking place in occupied buildings is required.
