The Town of Yarmouth is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the FY25 Traffic Control Flagger Services for multiple construction projects. The Yarmouth Police Department has the first right of refusal for these services. This On-Call Contract will only be used to supplement control/flagging services when police details are not available. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing adequate safeguards, safety devices, protective equipment, and other needed actions to protect the life, health, and safety of the workers, the public, and property in connection with the performance of the work identified in the scope of work. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, tools, and appurtenances necessary to complete the required scope of work. Multiple Award Anticipated. The Town of Yarmouth intends to select more than one (1) Contractor to perform these services. Full compliance with federal, state, and municipal wage laws is required for all work done for the Town of Yarmouth. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Industries under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the contractor, before bid opening, to request, if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those tradespeople who may be employed for the proposed work under this contract. Prevailing Wage Rates #20240607-086, dated June 07, 2024, are applicable to this project. Contract Term The contract period is one year from the execution date. The Town anticipates a start date of July 1, 2024; however, the actual period will be determined as mutually agreed upon between the Town and the successful Respondent. The Town of Yarmouth reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to waive any informality contained therein, and to award the contract as deemed in the best interest of the Town, in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws.
