Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sanibel, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

A. The contract work provides for the East Rocks Area Drainage Improvements Project and other related items pertinent and incidental thereto including the furnishing of all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, work and services, ready for satisfactory and continuous operation, in accordance with the drawings and specifications. B. The work included in this contract is described briefly as follows: The work consists of stormwater drainage improvements including concrete drainage pipe and catch basin installation, valley gutter replacement, pavement repairs, swale grading and all associated site restoration. C. Construction is scheduled to begin MARCH 3, 2025. This project is located within the East Rocks Subdivision off of West Gulf Drive on Sanibel Island. The work consists of stormwater drainage improvements including concrete drainage pipe and catch basin installation, valley gutter replacement, pavement repairs, swale grading and all associated site restoration. Proposals shall be properly and completely executed on a standard proposal form. Each proposal shall be accompanied by an acceptable certified check or cashiers check made payable to the City of Sanibel, or an acceptable Bidders Bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid price. The Contractor to whom the work is awarded will be required to furnish an acceptable Surety Bond in an amount of one hundred percent (l00%) of the contract price. No bidder may withdraw his proposal within a period of sixty (60) days following the date set for receiving proposals. The City of Sanibel reserves the right to hold any and all bids for a period of not more than sixty (60) days and said bids shall be and remain valid and in full force and effect during said period.
