Work is anticipated to be completed between August 1, 2024, and April 30, 2025. El Paso County is currently completing modernization projects of multiple buildings. This project involves retrofitting or replacing High Intensity Discharge (HID), fluorescent, and incandescent fixtures with Light Emitting Diode (LED) products. Question Deadline 06/21/2024 at 10:00 AM MT Questions are submitted online Yes Buyer Preferences, Guidelines & Requirements General Requirements - Insurance Required Objective The objective of this solicitation is to enter into a Professional Services Agreement with a Contractor(s) to replace/retrofit existing lighting fixtures and related lighting components with LED products at the following locations and in the following order: The Criminal Justice Center located at 2739 E. Las Vegas St Colorado Springs, CO 80906 The Judicial Complex located at 270 S. Tejon St., Colorado Springs, CO 80903. The Citizen's Service Center located at 1675 Garden of the Gods Rd, Colorado Springs CO, 80907 The Office of the Sheriff located at 27 E Vermijo Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903 The Professional Building located at 105 E. Vermijo Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. El Paso County's goal is to prioritize the replacement/retrofitting of fixtures in the interior of the buildings first. If feasible upon completion, the County will move to work on the exterior replacement/retrofit of fixtures. All work will need to be completed by August 31, 2025. The Contractor(s) shall provide work crews as directed and scheduled by El Paso County personnel for the six (6) El Paso County Buildings listed in order of priority. The buildings are the Criminal Justice Center, ,Judicial Complex, Citizen's Service Center, Office of the Sheriff, and Professional Building. The work crews shall conduct the following work: o Contractor shall replace all fluorescent or incandescent fixtures with LED Lamps. o Contractor shall replace all HID light fixtures with LED lamps or fixtures. o Contractor shall convert all can lights with LED products. o Contractor shall install LED retrofit kits where required. o All ballasts shall be removed if easily accessible and practicable. o All fluorescent dimmers, standard dimmers, and occupancy sensors that are not compatible with LED products shall be replaced with LED-compatible products. On completion, all must be tested for operation. o Contractor shall be asked to work some weekends, early mornings, or evening shifts to cover heavy daytime traffic areas due to public access. o Contractor shall provide a work area schedule to the El Paso County Project Manager to coordinate work activities.
