Reference Number 0000354074 Job Location: Colorado Springs Question Deadline 07/15/2024 at 12:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online No Colorado Springs Utilities (UTILITIES) is requesting Design/Build (DB) services, to include but limited to, providing all design and division 1 specs, hydraulic analysis, permitting, labor, material and equipment, to replace and realign approximately 27,000 linear feet of 12 steel (or other material(s) depending on material evaluation and availability) raw water pipeline and associated appurtenances for the Rosemont Pipeline Replacement Project. Condition assessment and reconfiguration of an energy dissipation box (Control Box #2) are also included in the project. The Rosemont Pipeline is a component of the Rosemont Raw Water System (RRWS), comprises about 14 miles of steel pipeline with diameters ranging from 10 to 14 inches. This pipeline is separated into six segments by five energy dissipation boxes called control boxes (CBs). In addition to the pipeline, RRWS consists of the Rosemont, Penrose, and Fisher Canon (Fisher) Reservoirs. The Rosemont Reservoir/Dam, at the top of the pipeline, functions as the systems primary water supply. The Penrose and Fisher reservoirs are utilized as terminal storage facilities, marking the conclusion of the gravity-fed system.
