Site work for a water / sewer project in Shelby, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construction of approximately 1,720 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron pipe water main, 210 linear feet of 6-inch ductile iron pipe water main, and 2,631 linear feet of 8" PVC and/or ductile iron pipe gravity sewer with associated manhole replacements, and all associated appurtenances required for successful project completion, as described in the Specifications and shown on the Drawings. Please note that up to 1,391 linear feet of the sanitary sewer may be ductile iron pipe in leu of PVC. The Owner will in no way be liable for any costs incurred by any bidder in preparation of its Bid. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, to waive any and all informalities, and to disregard all nonconforming or conditional Bids or counter Bids, and to accept the Bid that will be in the best interest of the Owner. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, certified check, or Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
