Demolition, site work and renovation of a civil project in Beverly, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work will take place in Beverly, Wenham and Danvers at Board's Water Filtration Plant, Longham Reservoir Gatehouse, and Putnamville Reservoir Gatehouse. Work includes immediate needs upgrades: demolish Putnamville Reservoir gatehouse; replace Longham Gatehouse bar rack and install flow meter along pipeline; upgrade filters including replacement of the underdrains, troughs, surface wash equipment and media; improvements to filter pipe gallery such as painting and select pipe replacement; install new backwash drain line valve; replace select parts in sedimentation basin; updates to the fluoride room including new tanks and pumps with adequate containment; all appurtenant and related work. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. CONTRACT NO. 2022-1: FACILITES UPGRADES The work will take place at the following locations: Board's Water Filtration Plant, 50 Arlington Avenue, Beverly, MA; Longham Reservoir Gatehouse, Longham Road, Beverly, MA; and Putnamville Reservoir Gatehouse, 320 Locust Street, Danvers, MA. The work includes, but is not limited to the following immediate needs upgrades and all appurtenant and related work, all as more particularly indicated, shown or described in the Contract Documents: Demolition of the above grade gatehouse at Putnamville Reservoir; Replacement of bar rack at Longham Gatehouse and installation of a flow meter along the pipeline; Upgrade of filters including replacement of the underdrains, troughs, surface wash equipment, and media; Improvements to filter pipe gallery such as painting and select pipe replacement; Installation of new backwash drain line valve; Replacement of select parts in the sedimentation basin; Updates to the fluoride room including new tanks and pumps with adequate containment; and All appurtenant and related work, all as more particularly indicated, shown or described in the Contract Documents. The Contract Time is 900 consecutive calendar days. The estimated project cost is $8,500,000.
