Reference Number 0000355158 The City of Southgate, Michigan desires to have a prefabricated pedestrian bridge to span Trenton Road, south of Cambridge Avenue. The City is seeking proposals in response to this Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified structural bridge fabricators for the fabrication of the bridge span, walking platform and other associated components. Bridge abutments and access ramps will be the responsibility of others. RFP Proponent to provide a prefabricated and pre-engineered bridge to comply with all safety standards as well as the guidelines and specifications listed in this RFP regarding quality of material components, fabrication, certifications in the State of Michigan, quality of design. Design/Build SCOPE OF SERVICES: The City of Southgate requires the selected RFP Proponent to include the costs of the delivered bridge systems to the location of the project indicated on the drawings, inclusive of the equipment structures, components, hardware, detailed technical installation instructions and maintenance & operations manuals from the manufacturer. The successful Designer shall furnish approved Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount.
