REQUIRED SERVICES A. Removal and replacement of existing irrigation controllers with Hunter HCC Smart controllers, including testing of system functions so that all zones and heads are functioning as designed. Work is to be completed by Friday August 30th or after with approval from the site supervisor. B. Installation of new Hunter HC Wireless Flow Meter on all main outflow water lines to each irrigation system. Water mains vary in diameter from 1 1/2 " to 2" by controller location. Must have wireless compatibility with Hydrawise controllers. Dakota County will furnish landscape and irrigation drawings for locations where and when available. It will be the contractor's responsibility to coordinate and maintain the irrigation layout with the site supervisor where drawings are not available. INSPECTION OF LOCATIONS Before submitting a quote, quoters shall be held to examine all the locations specified herein where work is to be performed, and become satisfied as to the existing conditions under which a contractor will be obliged to operate, that may affect the work under this contract. No allowances shall be made in this connection on behalf of the quoter and/or contract, for any negligence on their part. All equipment and necessary supplies to complete the work described in this scope of services. The contractor shall furnish, operate, and maintain, suitable and adequate equipment necessary to perform all tasks described in bid item, in a favorable manner. The equipment furnished by the contractor must be in good repair. Equipment and supplies may not be stored overnight or for extended periods of time on Dakota County property unless approved by the site supervisor. SAFETY EQUIPMENT, PROPER CLOTHING, AND APPEARANCE All personnel working on grounds shall be responsible for wearing safety equipment per O.S.H.A. requirements. All personnel shall maintain a clean and neat appearance. QUOTES One quote is requested for Northern Service Center, Hastings Administration Center, Juvenile Services Center, and Western Service Center - Six (6) Controllers and associated flow meters in total. The quote is to be based upon the attached project scope, specifications and requirements.
