The primary improvements under this project consist of CIPP Full Length Lining of Seven (7) sewer segments of 10-inches in diameter for a total lined length of 1,477 LF Re-establish, grout sealing, and CIPP lining of twenty-one (21) 6-inch diameter service lateral connections. The maximum length of service lateral lining will be ten (10) LF. Questions Due Date: Jun 20th 2024, 5:00 PM EDT A certified check payable to the Butler Area Sewer Authority or a bid bond on the bid form executed by the Bidder and a surety company approved by the Owner, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid, to guarantee the Bidder's entrance into a contract if given the award. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statutes of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or any applicable municipal ordinances. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. All bidders shall comply with the Federal requirements for Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (P.L. 88-352); and with the State requirements for The Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act (No. 1978-3) and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, as amended. Work under the aforementioned Contract is subject to the requirements and of the "Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act" (1961 August 15, PL 987;P.S.165) and subsequent amendments and the Public Works Verification Act (Act 127 of 2012) and subsequent amendments. All Contractors submitting bids may be required to submit a listing of past experience of similar work verifying themselves as qualified for this type of project.
