The work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles and for furnishing all transportation and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications, and for the performance of all labor, work, or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. The work shall be complete, and all work, materials, and services not expressly shown or called for in the Contract documents which may be necessary for the complete and proper construction of the work in good faith shall be performed, furnished, and installed by the Contractor as though originally so specified or shown, at no increase in cost to the City Cedarwoods Water Service Replacement. Questions Due Date: Jul 16th 2024, 10:00 PM EDT Scope of Work The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking proposals from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to furnish all labor, equipment, and materials to install and test approximately 596 new water service connections inside the Cedarwoods Townhouse Associates community located in the Pembroke Lakes area, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation. Below is a general list of the services required for the construction; It is not intended to be complete. Refer to attachment E - "Technical Specifications" and attachment F - "Cedarwoods Plans", in conjunction to the requirements outlined in this bid package. The project involves the following generalized descriptions of work: 1. Removal of asphalt and sidewalk necessary for utility accessibility. 2. Removal of existing meter box as well as capping and abandoning existing water service lines, and site restoration. 3. Installation of new water service lines, water meters, and dual checks. 4. Traffic maintenance and roadway and site restoration. Project Cost Estimate $2,111,211.17
