The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking proposals from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to provide and install Shade Structures at Maxwell Park and Josias Dog Park, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation. Questions Due Date: Aug 26th 2024, 11:30 PM EDT Online submission. SCOPE OF WORK Please refer to Attachments E: Construction Drawings for Maxwell Park and Attachment F: Construction Drawings for Josias Dog Park, for detailed specifications of the scope of work. For the full requirements of this bid, please reference the information listed in the Project Details section of the bid package. PROJECT DETAILS Supply and install new shade structure and steel columns at Maxwell Park using the existing footers as per specifications on construction drawings. Supply and install new shade structures and steel columns at Josias Dog Park to include new footers and concrete pad as per specifications on construction drawings. Contractor to price specified material and manufacturer, as specified on construction drawings. An approved equal material and manufacturer could be proposed as an alternate price. Contractor must notate they are submitting an alternate material and provide the specifications for City and Engineer of Records review and approval. Awarded Contractor is responsible to secure and submit signed & sealed shop drawings provided by manufacturer for shade structures, columns, and any other specifications noted on plans for City and Engineer of Records review prior to ordering material.Remove any existing fixtures, conduit, and any other items under or near installation location.
