Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot in Castle Rock, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Region: 1 Counties: Douglas Contract UDBE Goal: 13.00 % Fixed Completion Date: 2/14/2025 This project is located in Region 1 in Douglas county. Project work consists of I-25 Chain Station safety improvements. Please contact Telecia McCline at 303-365-7234 for all project related questions. This project will be doing a full-depth replacement of the pavement of the NB chain area where trucks will be entering to de-chain only when chain law is in effect. Lighting and permanent striping will be in the parking area of the chain down station. Signage will be added at the approach and to maneuver vehicles through the space and to exit.ITS elements will be a significant part of this project and will include new Variable Message Signs (VMS), Closed Circuit Television Cameras (CCTV), and establishing communications and power to the new devices. The networking element of this project will require devices be connected to the CDOT ITS fiber network using CWDM fiber technology and the deployment of new networking equipment. The existing "Open/Closed" blank out sign for the south bound chain up station will be replaced with a new VMS, a NB VMS will also be added for the chain down station. New VMS signs and CCTVs will need to be integrated into CDOT's OpenTMS central system. 1000+ LF of bored fiber/conduit will be added and end with a pullbox prior to the VMS in SB direction for future Flashing Beacon Sign locations. Boring conduit under I-25 will be required for both power and fiber.
