The project generally consists of 3" asphalt paving work on a 1220 linear foot length of 32 ft wide Halfturn Rd. Four other nearby locations in Town also require paving or overlays: Pinyon Circle; 1420 linear feet avg width 42 ft; Giant Steps parking lot,246 E. Main St; Rangely WWTP Headworks,407 Bronco Rd; and Rangely Library back parking lot,109 E. Main St. Total Estimated tonnage is 2250 tons. Tack coat will be required at 1 location with existing asphalt (Pinyon Circle), everything else will be milled to dirt and prepared by others, and require prime coat. Town will perform Traffic Control The Town reserves the right to modify quantities or not award. Project locations will be ready for asphalt after8/15/2024. Time is of the essence, so Contractor's estimated start and completion dates will be considered along with bid price A Bid Bond will be required. Performance and Payment Bonds equal to 100% of the bid amount will be required upon contract award. Successful bidder must have at least10 years of experience providing asphalt paving and overlay services for municipal projects, and provide General Liability insurance of $1,000,000each occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregate, Umbrella Liability insurance of $1,000,000 each occurrence,$1,000,000 aggregate, and Workers Compensation of $1,000,000/ $1,000,000/ $1,000,000.
