Demolition shall be in accordance with the specifications now on file in the office of the Miami County Plan Commission. No bid will be considered unless the bidder is licensed and qualified pursuant to Indiana law and/or registered with the Miami County Plan Commission pursuant to Miami County Ordinance. All bids are to be "not to exceed" bids. Bids may be on State Form 52414 as prescribed by the Indiana State Board of Accounts and shall contain such statements as are required by law. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of at least Five Percent (5.00%) of the bid and a certificate of insurance must be filed with each bid in order for the bid to be considered. The Miami County Plan Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids and portions thereof, to waive minor technicalities and informalities, and to make an award deemed in its best interest, subject to the requirements of any applicable laws of procurement.
