Project Description: Work of the Project Includes the Construction of an Open-air Performance Structure as Indicated in the Drawings Inside Kamm Island in Mishawaka, in, and Other Work Indicated in the Contract Documents. A Certified Check Payable to the City of Mishawaka, Indiana or a Satisfactory Bid Bond Executed by the Bidder and Surety Company, in an Amount Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Bid Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid. The Bidder Awarded the Contract Will Be Required to Furnish a Separate Performance Bond and Payment Bond, Each in the Amount of One-hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Price Before Commencing Work. The Performance Bond and Payment Bond Shall Remain in Effect Throughout the Entire Construction Period and in Addition a Maintenance Bond in an Amount of 10% of the Final Contract Price for a Period of Three Years From the Date of Project Completion Will Be Required. Each Bidder Shall Be Required to Complete the Bid Form Included With These Documents. The Substantial Completion Date is 160 Calendar Days From the Date of Award and the Final Completion Date is 180 Calendar Days From the Date of Award. This Project Shall Comply With Labor Standards as Established by Hud and Office of Davis Bacon. Standards Are Included in Project Manual Under "00 60 00 Project Forms". The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Mishawaka, Indiana, Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids and to Waive Any Irregularities in Bidding and to Make an Award in the Best Interest of the City. No Bid or Bid Security May Be Withdrawn After the Scheduled Closing Time for Receipt of Bids for at Least Sixty (60) Days.
