Bids will only be accepted from Plan Holders of Record for the following: MMunicipal Refuse Collection, Transportation and Disposal "NO TRASH LEFT BEHIND" consisting of: Weekly residential solid waste collection, co-mingled yard waste, with waste cart, weekly residential recycling materials collection with recycle cart, and large item removal. Bids must be submitted on the colored proposal forms provided in the bidding documents, and each bid shall be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit as required by the Statutes of Indiana. Each bidder shall submit a certified financial statement documenting their experience record, available equipment, and proposed work plan. Each bidder shall be required to complete all documents listed in the Checklist for Bidders. A certified check payable to the City of Mishawaka, Indiana or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and surety company, in the amount of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) shall be submitted with each bid. A Performance Bond in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Annual contract Price as security for the faithful performance and payment of all contractor's obligations will be required of the successful bidder and remain in force for the life of the contract. The Board of Public Works & Safety of the City of Mishawaka, Indiana reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in bidding, and to award a contract in the best interests of the City of Mishawaka, Indiana. No bid or bid security may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof.
