Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mountlake Terrace, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Veterans Memorial Park Trails. Question Deadline 07/01/2024 at 2:00 PM PT Questions or clarifications regarding this Invitation for Bid must be received by online. Description: This project is supported with federal funding from Puget Sound Regional Councils - Transportation Alternatives Program and Congressional Direct Spending from Federal Highway Administration. This project will construct improvements to Veterans Memorial Park Trail facilities, including but not limited to construction of approximately 1070 linear feet of 8-ft wide HMA trails; and 580 linear feet of 6-ft wide HMA trails; 440 square feet of structural earth retaining wall; 4770 square feet of gabion retaining walls; 525 square feet of rockery walls; pedestrian railings; installation of a 50-ft long steel pedestrian bridge, concrete footings, and steel piles; 380 linear feet of storm drain pipe and inlets; trail illumination system; and minor sidewalk, curb and gutter, and curb ramp frontage improvements along 58th Avenue West. The work also includes clearing and grubbing, tree removal, earthwork, crushed surfacing trail subgrade and shoulders, ballast infiltration basins, erosion control measures, trail signing and amenities, landscaping mitigation, grading and minor restoration of disturbed areas and landscaping, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the 2024 WSDOT/APWA Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction. Site Address: 23400 58th Ave West Site Directions: Heading north on I-5: Take exit 178 for 236th St SW toward Mountlake Terrace. Turn right onto 236th St SW. Turn left onto 58th Ave W. The park is on your left. Heading south on I-5: Take exit 179 for 220th St SW. Turn left onto 220th St SW. Turn right at the second cross street, onto 58th Ave W. Proceed 0.8 mi. The park will be on your right. The estimated cost of construction is between 2,200,000 - $2,700,000.
