Please contact Lisa Strazzeri via email only at Istrazzeri@rvcny.us. Questions must be submitted no later than JUNE 20, 2024. This section intentionally left blank. PERFORMANCE BOND and LABOR MATERIAL BOND Before commencing work, the successful bidder shall provide from a recognized surety company a guarantee that if a contract is awarded to the bidder, the surety company will supply bond to the bidder. The bond shall be in force up to and including one (1) year after date of contract signing. The "BOND" shall be executed by a surety company acceptable to the Village, in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract. The cost of such bond is to be borne by the bidder. MAINTENANCE BOND A separate maintenance bond provided by the successful bidder shall take effect upon final payment of the work by the Village and remain in effect for a period of two (2) years. The maintenance bond shall be executed by a surety company acceptable to the Village, for the guarantee period. The maintenance bond shall be in an amount equal to one hundred (1008) of the total amount of the final Contract price. The Village reserves the right to reject all bids or make such determination as in the best interests of the Village, as provided by law.
