Renovation of a transportation facility in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
All labour, equipment and materials for construction of three (3) high voltage electric vehicle (EV) maintenance bays at the OC Transpo North Garage located at 1500 St. Laurent Boulevard, Ottawa, ON, (the Work). The scope of works are a follows: (1) Retrofit an existing bus repair area to accommodate electric vehicle maintenance, (2) Removal of existing mechanical and electrical systems, (3) Removal of rooftop mechanical and patch roofing system, (4) Replace existing overhead doors, (5) Add a service mezzanine and hoisting system to service electric buses and replace batteries, (6) Add new locker rooms, (7) Modification of the existing sprinkler and adding new sprinklers below the mezzanine, (8) Replacement of mechanical equipment and distribution together with adding cooling equipment, (9) Replace/modify existing electrical systems to suit the new layout, and (10) Security provisions for CCTV.
