Site work for a municipal facility in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
Work of the Project, of which Work of this Contract is a part, comprises the following: .1 Demolish existing automatic sliding gate and associated components to facilitate construction and installation of a new automatic vertical pivot gate and associated appurtenances to be located at the main site entrance. .2 New construction of electrical, civil and concrete foundation to facilitate installation of new automatic vertical pivot gate operators, gates and associated appurtenances. All other work covered by contract documents including new concrete median extension, concrete piers, new site perimeter chain link fence, dual height pedestal stand for card reader, electrical work to facilitate new installation and commissioning of works. .3 Construction done during normal site business hours must include maintaining a minimum of one lane of traffic at any given time including access to the inbound and outbound weigh scales. A bid deposit of ten percent (10%) of the Contract Price, in the form of an electronic bid bond, is required with this RFT. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
