Summary of Work described as, but not limited to: 1 Work of this Contract comprises general renovation and upgrades to the East Block of the Golden Heights Manor Nursing Home located at Hospital Road, Bonavista, NL. 2 Summary of Work described as, but not limited to: .1 Renovation work will be phased in coordination with the NL Health Services team for the site. A proposed phasing plan has been included in the contract, to be reviewed and confirmed by the successful bidder in conjunction with Eastern Health following award. 2 Scope of Work will include architectural, mechanical and electrical upgrades as well as hazardous materials abatement. .3 A Hazardous Materials Assessment report has been included with the contract documents. Asbestos has been identified in the joint compound of the existing gypsum board partitions of East Block as well as in the vinyl composite tiles located in Electrical Room 127. Bidders to review Hazardous Materials Assessment report in detail prior to bid.
