Site Directions: Starting at 33.47428645599949, -84.90083816431599 and ending at Lamar Smith Dr, Newnan, GA 30263 Work of the Project generally includes furnishing the labor, materials, and equipment for a new raw water transmission main that will convey water from the new Chattahoochee River Pumping Station to the B.T. Brown Reservoir. This raw water transmission main will be installed in a two-phase approach. Phase 1 of the raw water transmission main will be from Chattahoochee River Pumping Station to Walt Carmichael Road. At Walt Carmichael Road the new 36" raw water transmission main will connect to the existing 18" pump back pipeline coming from Cedar Creek Pump Station. Phase 2 will be an optional bid item that extends the pipeline from Walt Carmichael Road to the B.T. Brown Reservoir. The raw water transmission main will be installed along cross-country easements, County and State rights-of-way, and CCWSA-owned properties. More specifically, the Work includes, but is not limited to, construction of the following: 36-inch Raw Water Transmission Main 1. Phase I: Furnish and install approximately 24,000 linear feet of 36-inch diameter raw water transmission main ending at Station 249+00 east of Walt Carmichael Road. 2. Phase II: Future - Not In Contract, is included for pricing only: Furnish and install 30,000 linear feet of 36-inch diameter raw water transmission main. If found to be in the Owner's interest, Owner may negotiate extension for Phase II. 3. Jack and bore installations of 48-inch diameter steel casing at road crossings . 4. Horizontal directional drill installations of 42-inch diameter HDPE pipe. 5. Air release valves, blow-off valves, isolation valves, structures, fittings and appurtenances. 6. Interconnect to the existing 18" raw water (the Pumpback Line) pipeline at Walt Carmichael Road. 7. Incidental work including dewatering, protection of existing utilities, construction surveying and staking, removal and replacement of existing unpaved roads and driveways, installation and removal of temporary construction fencing, testing and flushing of the completed pipeline. Bidder agrees that the Work will be substantially complete within 580 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in Paragraph 4.01 of the General Conditions, and will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within 610 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run.
