Project No: 915.023.001 The range for the project cost on this project is $8.81M to $10.77M The project generally includes the construction of a new concrete (25,200 SY) airport parking apron and Taxiway connector. Major work includes excavation, subbase, drainage, grading, electrical adjustments and concrete paving. Submitted proposals that were not recorded on the plan holders list shall be considered non-responsive. After award, the low bidder shall be prepared to hold bid prices for anticipated construction start date of October 1, 2024, weather dependent or as late as May 1, 2025. The execution of the Construction Contract is dependent upon the receipt of an FAA grant offer and is not anticipated until September 1, 2024. This Contract does not allow for price escalation in unit bid items. The Contractor shall take this into consideration when preparing unit prices for bidding. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum proposal price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal. This contract has a DBE Goal of 2.5 percent. Contractor is expected to provide their Contractor's DBE Plan as part of their proposal.
