Abatement or Encapsulate Lead Based Paint Residential Structure The main project items to be included are as follows: Lead Work: Windows: o Removal of (9) nine current windows of a total (15) fifteen count. All windows (Healthy Homes windows as well) need to be bagged due to different degrees of lead on each window and properly disposed in a lead site o Replace all these windows with new Pella style windows with screens o Touch up with white paint each window frame on the interior o Touch up with (1) coat of encapsulate and two coats of white paint on the exterior of each window frame as needed after installation Cost for materials, time and labor: $___________ Wood gables at each end of the house and over front porch area: o Cover with one coat of encapsulate and two coats of white paint Front Porch and Carport Support columns o Encapsulate and paint with two coats of paint choice of color if other than white o Encapsulate and Paint Fireplace Mantel, Foyer door A and Office Door D (see drawing for door locations) Cost for material, time and labor: Healthy Homes: Windows: o Removal of (6) current windows, totaling (15) fifteen for the entire house. All windows (Healthy Homes windows as well) need to be bagged due to different degrees of lead on each window and properly disposed in a lead site o HVAC Return Vent, located in kitchen/ dining area is undersized. Rebuild to the proper size for air return to the unit. Relocate the filter from underneath the house to the new return vent in the dining area Project Location: Spartanburg, S.C. Project items include but not limited to: Replacement of (8) windows with double pane, double hung upgraded Pella style windows. After installation of windows, the interior frames with be painted white as needed. The house soffit and fascia trim as well as the exterior window frames will be covered with vinyl or metal boxing.
