Pump Station Repairs - 2024 Repair Project A satisfactory Bid Bond provided by an acceptable surety (or the cash equivalent) in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. Performance and payment bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required. The bonds must be secured by cash or must be issued by a surety company licensed in the State of South Carolina with an "A" minimum rating of performance as stated in the most current publication of "Best Key Rating Guide, Property Liability. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities in the bidding. Certificates of insurance naming the District as an additional insured and with limits as noted in the bid documents will be required. Contractors submitting bids shall be properly licensed in the State of South Carolina to bid and perform the work on which the bid is submitted at the date of the bid 1) Contractor will furnish all supervision, administration, means of transportation, services, material, equipment, tools, apparatus, skills and labor of every description necessary to carry out and complete in a good, firm, substantial and workmanlike manner the work described below. 3) Contractor will construct project in accordance with all applicable local, state and federal requirements. Contractor will be subject to any permits that may be required by local regulatory agencies.
