The scope of work of the project includes improvements to the existing Multi-Purpose Room in the original school building constructed and opened in 2019. Work includes , but is not limited to the following: new 1,000 SF mezzanine and office addition inside the existing Multi-Purpose Room,including wood framing, interior chainlink,drywall, painting,related electrical, and related fire-sprinkler modifications ;new1,800 SF addition of the existing Multi-Purpose Room matching the existing 12 foot eave height and exterior and interior finishes ,including new concrete foundation, wood framing,in sulation,fiber-cement siding ,asphalt shingle roof, vinyl windows, flooring, painting , related sitework ,related fire sprinkler,mechanical and electrical ; and new moveable partition wall A Public Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho will be required of the successful bidder and all subcontractors prior to bid. Bids must be signed and accompanied by evidence of authority to sign. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check or cash in the amount of 5% of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. June 25: Intent to Award to Contractor June 28: Notice to Proceed August 16: Construction Complete We will promptly review proposals with the Owner and intend to send an Intent to Award Letter on June 25, or soon after. Performance & Payment Bonds are required for this project. A Bid Bond is NOT required. The project will be awarded to the low-bid Contractor or the Owner may reject all bids.
