Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Chillicothe, Missouri. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.
The proposed work includes the removal of the existing bridge and construction of a 51 feet long x 24 feet wide 21 concrete deck girder bridge with w-beam rails that is supported by reinforced concrete abutments on galvanized HP 12x53 piles, and other required appurtenances. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the current version of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. A certified cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids The Contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder who provides the lowest price complying with the Conditions of the Contract Documents within the Owner's budget.
