Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Chillicothe, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The proposed work includes removal of the existing bridge and construction of a new 60-0 single-span, precast voided deck-girder bridge with galvanized steel HP piling, concrete abutments, w-beam railing, and other required appurtenances. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction 2024, 4th Edition - April 2025 including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. A certified or cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The DBE goal for this project is 0%. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project. The Contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder who provides the lowest price complying with the Conditions of the Contract Documents within the Owners budget.
