Snow Removal/Winter Maintenance for BC Ferry Terminals and Maintenance Yards. This Request for Proposal identifies a business opportunity for the successful Proponent to provide snow clearing and salting services for various terminals and maintenance yards on an as-needed basis. The contracted work will be conducted between October 1st and March 31st annually and will encompass snow removal, slush, and ice control services. Bid date note: Proponents shall e-mail their proposal to the attention of the Contact shown on the title page of this RFx, on or before the Closing Date and Time stated. Any pricing tables required in response to this RFQ are to be submitted, in the electronic copy, in Excel format. Responses must be in the English language. Email submissions must meet the following requirements: a. Submissions must be made in Microsoft Office 2007 or later format or Adobe PDF format. If Attachment worksheets were provided in Excel format, the attachment worksheets should be submitted in Excel format; b. Each file should be less than 10 MB. Failure by any Proponent to comply with this restriction may result in information not being received by BC Ferries and may result in a non-compliant Proposal by the Proponent; c. ZIP or like files shall not be accepted; and d. Please do not include hyperlinks or website addresses in the Proposal to information that forms a part of the Proposal. BC Ferries reserves the right not to review any information provided by this means, and may result in a non-compliant Proposal by the Proponent.
