Renovations to a two-story mixed use building for both commercial and residential units. Commercial units are located at 106, 108, 110 N. 8th Street and the residential units are located at 106 1/2 N. 8th Street, Units A, B, C, D and E. All requirements of the Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act, 41 USC 8301 note, and all applicable rules and notices, as may be amended, shall be complied with if applicable to the infrastructure project. Pursuant to HUD's Notice, "Public Interest Phased Implementation Waiver for FY 2022 and 2023 of Build America, Buy America Provisions as Applied to Recipients of HUD Federal Financial Assistance" (88 FR 17001), any funds obligated by HUD on or after the applicable listed effective dates, are subject to BABA requirements, unless excepted by a waiver.* This Scope of Work specifically includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Vendor and Sub contractor shall utilize DHS E-Verify system to confirm employee eligibility. c. All subcontractors will be required to verify that their onsite personnel do not have a felony conviction and provide such proof to the CM upon request.
