Renovation of a medical facility in Montreal, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Upgrades, repairs and improvements to the critical care pavilion K of the Jewish General Hospital. The scope of work includes redevelopment of the currently empty 17th room so that it becomes part of the operating room stock in this block. This 17th room will also have the particularity of being hybrid in that we will install major Angio-type medical equipment there. The project aims the replacement of a conventional radiotherapy simulator with a 1.5 Tesla magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine for radiotherapy simulation at the Jewish General Hospital in the basement of the Pavilion. The project construction will include three packages. TIMELINE: Project funding was not approved ant the owner has cancelled the Request for proposals for design services CO2024 P-17-195 P-24-007/20032346. No construction will follow this report. Coverage of this report has been discontinued.
