work required for project (RTP)23-RT-54-03 Resurface, Patch, Traffic Markings, and Traffic Legends on the Chief Ladiga Trail from a point 1.35 miles north of Merrellton Road to the Calhoun/Cleburne county line and project P-001 Resurface, and Traffic Strip on Savage Street, Nolan Street, Foskett Street, Morgan Avenue, Taylor Street, West Ladiga Street, and East Calhoun Street in the City of Piedmont. City reserves the right to accept or reject all Bids or any portion thereof. All bids must be marked with the word "BID" on the outside of the bid package along with Bid Proposal for (RTP)23-RT-54-03 and P-001; the bid date and the Alabama General Contractor's License Number. The contractor shall meet all Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) Bonding and Licensing requirements as well as all applicable laws, ordinances, and codes of the U.S. Government, the State of Alabama, any relevant municipality, and the CITY, and, specifically and without limitation, shall comply with all provisions of the Beason-Hammond Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act, commonly referred to as the Immigration Act. Work consists of any items listed in this Invitation to Bid to be performed at the roads located in Piedmont, AL. The project consists of resurfacing and traffic markings on Savage Street, Nolan Street, Foskett Street, Morgan Avenue, Taylor Street, West Ladiga Street and East Calhoun Street. The contractor will furnish, install & maintain all necessary traffic control devices during any construction or roadwork activity according to the MUTCD.
