Site work for a civil project in Nederland, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

WWTP Effluent Improvements Project. Bid Security, only in the form of: 1) a certified or cashier's check drawn on a Texas bank and made payable to the JCWCID10; or 2) a bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Texas, in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid, must accompany each bid at the time it is submitted. Bids must be submitted on the form shown in the Contract Documents. A Contractor Qualification Statement must also accompany each bid. Scope This project is generally described as the installation of approximately 13,035 LF (2.47 miles) of 14" HDPE DR-11 force main beginning at the JCWCID10 Wastewater Treatment Plant and ending at the Neches River. Along the path, multiple entities are crossed, including, but not limited to, Drainage District 7 (DD7), Entergy, Lower Neches Valley Authority (LNVA), Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), and Kansas City Southern Railway (KCS), as well as multiple pipelines, including but not limited to, Enterprise Products, Centana Intrastate, ExxonMobil, Linde, Phillips 66, and TC Energy. The 14" effluent line is to be installed through various methods of installation including horizontal directional drilling, dry jack and bore, trenchless bore, and open cut, along with fittings, air release valves, manholes, steel casings, and an end of line tie-in at the Neches River, and any and other improvements necessary for a complete installation. Additionally, additive alternative bid items are included for pipeline weights as intended for anti-flotation measures in areas of buoyancy concern. The project scope for the Base Bid includes but is not limited to: Mobilization Install 4,445 LF of 14" HDPE DR-11 Force Main through Contractor's choice of Boring, Directional Drilling, or Open Cut for locations with no identified installation method Install 279 LF of 14" HDPE DR-11 Encased Force Main under SH 347 and KCS Railroad through Jack and Bore with 20" steel pipe casing Install 413 LF of 14" HDPE DR-11 Un-encased Force Main at specified locations through trenchless installation Install 680 LF of 14" HDPE DR-11 Force Main through Horizontal Directional Drilling under Drainage District 7 (DD7) Humphries Ditch and Central Gardens Ditch and Lower Neches Valley Authority (LNVA) canal Install 7,218 LF of 14" HDPE DR-11 Force Main through Open Cut for locations with buoyancy concern Construct 8 EA of 2" Combination Vacuum/Air Release Valve with Manhole Construct End of Line Tie-in at Neches River The project scope for the Additive Alternate Bid #1 (Pipeline Weights with Sand) includes but is not limited to: Furnish & install 493 EA Geotextile Pipeline Weights filled with sand The project scope for the Additive Alternate Bid #2 (Pipeline Weights with Gravel) includes but is not limited to: Furnish & install 398 EA Geotextile Pipeline Weights filled with gravel. The right is reserved by the JCWCID10, as their interest may require, to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in the bids received. This item shall consist of the mobilization of personnel, equipment and supplies at the project site in preparation for beginning work on other contract items. Mobilization shall include, but is not limited to, the movement of equipment, personnel, material, supplies, etc. to the project site and the establishment of office and other facilities necessary prior to beginning the work. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
