General work description: The successful bidder will provide maintenance and repair service for Seventeen (17) standby generator sets located throughout the City of Palo Alto, and supply parts as required. Detailed maintenance requirements will be outlined in Part IV (Preventive Maintenance) of this specification. The City is seeking to establish a pricing contract for a period of three (3) years. The successful bidder's quotation will outline a maintenance program designed to prolong the useful life of equipment and maximize its availability by means of a thorough preventive maintenance program and cost-effective repairs. The quotation will include responses to requests for information and pricing as noted in other areas of this specification.
